“Our Man in Havana” is another comic thriller and political satire by the author of “The Third Man”. The book was made into a very popular movie by director Carol Reed in 1960, starring Alec Guinness. This book was published in London by William Heinemann Ltd. in 1958 (see photo), and is presumed to be a first edition, as there is no statement of later printing on the copyright page.

The book has dark royal blue fabric boards with the title printed in gold on the spine. There is minor shelf wear at the top and bottom of the spine and corners. The binding is slightly loosened but intact. The front endpaper has a cut corner (see photo). The interior pages are in very good condition. The book contains 273 numbered pages, and measures approximately 5-1/4 by 8 inches.

The colorful dust jacket was designed by Donald Green – it has paper loss at the bottom of the spine (see photo) and indicates the book was priced in English currency.

This book will be shipped by priority mail, with postal insurance included within the US. International postal insurance may be declined if not desired.
