This marvelous soft velvet wrap or shrug dates to the 1930s or 1940s. It’s a creamy white velvet with a rayon crepe lining. The garment has a shawl collar with a double-breasted overlap in front, held by two black glass buttons with silvery accents.

The bottom of the wrap, when buttoned, measures 30 inches around. There was a small area of damage on the left side front, which I covered with a sewn-in crocheted piece measuring 1-1/4 by 2 inches (see photo). Other than this repair, condition is very good.

The shrug has been gently washed and ironed, and comes to you from our smoke-free, pet-free home. It will be carefully packaged and shipped by priority mail, with postal insurance included within the US.
