Doll's White Skirt and Red-Dotted Blouse, Early 1900s

The little blouse for a doll is made of a white cotton with a small red print. It is fully open at the back and has no buttons or snaps. The sleeves are gathered at the shoulder and at the wrist, and the neck is bound with the same material. The blouse measures 7 inches from shoulder to hem, and is in very good condition.

The doll's skirt is an off-white cotton batiste material. It is pleated at the waistband, and open for 2 inches at the back with no buttons or snaps. The skirt is 12-1/4 inches from waistband to hem, and is in good condition except for a light stain on one side.

Both pieces are nicely hand-made. It’s difficult to put a date on when these were made, but I believe it was earlier than 1925.

The skirt and blouse have been washed and ironed, and come to you from our smoke-free, pet-free home. They will be carefully folded, packaged with a backing board and plastic sleeve and shipped by first class mail in a bubble envelope, with postal insurance included within the US. International postal insurance may be declined if not desired.
