Vintage Collar, Intricate and Lovely Battenberg Lace

This beautiful collar is made of intricate loops of narrow delicate Battenberg lace with a needle-woven round motif along the border. The border is further embellished with a curvy edging. At each side of the collar, the lace comes to a triangular point. There is a doubled edging of bias net at the inside edge for stitching to the neckline of a blouse or dress.

The collar measures approximately 20 inches in length at the inside edge and is 3-1/4 inches wide. The off-white lace is beautiful, delicate and in very good condition. It is slightly browned at the inner edge.

The collar has been washed and ironed, and comes to you from our smoke-free, pet-free home. It will be packaged with a backing board and plastic sleeve and shipped by first class mail in a bubble envelope, including postal insurance within the US. International postal insurance may be declined if not desired.
