This wonderful Amish quilt is an investment as well as a stunning accent to your home.

The quilt patchwork pattern is a traditional Amish design called Ocean Waves, with hundreds of colorful cotton triangles set against a black background. The patchwork piecing has been done by machine, but it has been quilted by hand, also with a traditional Amish motif (see photo of the border detail). The first photo shows the quilt laid out on a king-size bed.

This beautiful quilt is 80 inches square, and is in very good condition. The back of the quilt is a plain black cotton fabric.

This quilt was purchased at an estate sale, and it’s difficult to estimate the its age, but the fabric does show some evidence of wear and there are a few broken threads, so it is obviously not a new quilt. It comes to you from our smoke-free, pet-free home.
