This book, “Tender is the Night”, was written by F. Scott Fitzgerald and originally published in 1934 by Charles Scribner’s Sons.

This edition is also copyrighted 1933, 1934 by Charles Scribner’s Sons (see photo), and there is no later copyright date given or statement of later printing in this book. However, the original edition had 408 pages and this book has only 315 pages. Of the hundreds of books of this title available on the Internet, I found only one reference to an edition with 315 pages, which is a 1977 reset edition by Scribner of the original novel, so I am assuming that this book is one of that 1977 printing.

This book has a dark blue fabric hardcover, with gold lettering on the spine. It is in very good condition, the binding is tight, and there are no cracks at the endpapers, and no page tears or creases. There is minor shelf wear at the top and bottom of the spine. Unfortunately, there is no dust jacket, which might have been able to provide more information.

This item will be protectively packaged and shipped by priority mail, with postal insurance included within the US. Postal insurance may be declined if not desired.

Item ID: 2635
