“The Thin Man” is a classic book, known especially for the series of movies inspired by these characters. This detective novel by Dashiell Hammett was originally copyrighted by Alfred A. Knopf, Inc., in 1933-34. This is a reprint edition by Grosset & Dunlap, by arrangement with Knopf. The book is presumed to be a first printing in 1934 of this reprint edition, as there is no statement of later printing on the copyright or any other page.

The book has orange fabric boards printed in black. Condition is good overall. There is minor shelf wear at the top and bottom of the faded spine, and the back cover is spotted. The binding is mostly tight – one section is loosened. The interior pages are in very good condition with one small tear, although age-browned. The book contains 259 numbered pages, and measures approximately 5/1/4 by 7-5/8 inches. There is no dust jacket.

This book will be protectively packaged and shipped in a box by media mail, including postal insurance within the US. International postal insurance may be declined if not desired.
