This beautiful book was compiled by John Harris, in association with the Victoria and Albert Museum in London for their “Garden Exhibition”. It was published in 1979 by Octopus Books Ltd., in association with Edgeworth Press.

There are 16 full-page color vintage prints, as well as lots of black-and-white drawings. Each of the chapter headings is a floral drawing of a letter of the alphabet.

The hard-cover boards are chipped and worn around the edges, but the sewn binding is tight, there are no cracks at the endpapers and the interior pages are in very good condition. The book measures 12 by 9-3/4 inches and contains 112 pages. There is no dust jacket.
