This is a popular style of Mexican jewelry. The brooch is a face with a head-dress in Aztec style, carved from a green stone, perhaps a form of agate. The simple backing plate folds over the face at the top and sides, and holds silver hoop earrings.

The pin has a simple C clasp, and the back is stamped “Silver Mexico”. This very attractive brooch measures 1-3/4 by 1-5/8 inches, and is in very good condition.

This item will be protectively boxed and shipped by first class mail, including postal insurance within the US. International postal insurance may be declined if not desired.
