$25 USDNiagara Falls in Winter - Two Postcards, 1906 and Real Photo

Postcards:Real Photo
The first of these two postcards is a “real photo” postcard showing Niagara Falls with much of it frozen and mounds of snow and ice with people walking across. The caption reads “On the Ice Bridge”. This is an AZO postcard dating to circa 1910. The sepia photo is sharp and clear, but there is a crease down the center. The other item is an undivided back postcard of a similar scene and three others, all of Niagara Falls in winter. It is dated 1906 and was apparently mailed but there is no ...

$16 USD SaleSALE Planned Double Exposure of Man and Woman, Real Photo Postcard

Postcards:Real Photo
This unusual photo is of a man and a woman, perhaps a married couple. You can tell by the indistinct area between them that they were not posed together, but that the two individual photos (perhaps from an earlier era) were merged into one. The card is identified on the back as an AZO card, circa 1910. It is in very good condition. This postcard will be packaged in a rigid plastic sleeve and bubble envelope, and shipped by first class mail. Postal insurance may be declined if not desired.

$15 USDYoung Boy in Unusual Costume with Rifle - Real Photo Postcard

Postcards:Real Photo
I wish I knew the story behind this photo. The boy is dressed in some sort of military uniform with a turban-like hat on his head, and he is carrying a rifle with a bayonet. Perhaps it is a costume for a play or opera. This is an AZO real photo postcard, circa 1910, from the Morrow Studio in Newport, Pennsylvania. There is some age-browning on the back, but no tears or creases. This postcard will be packaged in a rigid plastic sleeve and bubble envelope, and shipped by first class mail. Postal ...

This unique real photo postcard shows a cute little boy in a sailor suit in two poses, an intentional double exposure. The photo is in sepia tones. On the side is written in pencil: Our Boy. There is a visible postmark on the reverse dated September 9, 1907. As you can see from the scan, this item was pasted in an album, and there is still a lot of paper residue stuck to it.
