This famous exhibit at the Museum of Modern Art contained 503 expressive and beautiful pictures of people from 68 countries, assembled and curated by Edward Steichen. The book was copyrighted in 1955 by the Museum of Modern Art, printed by MACO Magazine Corporation, and this is a first edition. It has a prologue by poet Carl Sandburg. The book has white paper-covered hardcover boards printed in gilt, with a black fabric spine. It is in very good condition, with no tears or creases, although ...
