Spectacular Faux Black Diamond Clip Earrings

Oh My Goodness-this pair of earrings truly does demand the word spectacular. From the book, Signed Beauties of Costume Jewelry by Marcia "Sparkles" Brown, I quote, "When you start to study Weiss and learn his style, you will probably think you have spotted a Weiss for sale, only to turn it over and find there's no logo. Your instinct was probably right as Weiss manufactured jewelry for wholesale to stores such as J. C. Penny and Sears & Roebuck. The stores would nestle the jewelry in their own presentation boxes for retail sales. He introduced the gray rhinestone that started the Black Diamond trend....".

This is exactly what happened to me! I can't tell you enough about this pair of outstanding clip earrings. You can see they are made left and right, designed to accent your face in the most becoming way and are in perfect condition. I tried them on while writing this and found them very comfortable and that they reach half way up my ears for maximum impact.

The prong set stones are amazing. There are 2 very large brilliant cuts in the center, surrounded by sizable clear cuts with a string of "ice" going up the curvature, finished with an entire border of large navette cuts.

Each earring measures over 1.5 long and 1/2 inch wide with three levels of height increasing the dynamics of light flashes. Unsigned but outstanding and probably by Weiss in their high end production due to the icing, which was a well known company dedicated to hand-set pieces with quality rhinestones from Austria because they offered that extra sparkle due to the higher lead content glass. Wow.
