ART Set-Modern Brooch & Clip Earrings-Raised Bezel Set Multicolored Rhinestones

Outstanding demi-parure by ART also known as "Mode-Art" producing fine quality costume jewelry from 1950-70's. This set epitomizes their signature look of interesting stones and color combinations reminiscent of Florenza jewelry.

This is an amazing set! It is primitive in that all the multi colored rhinestones are in raised bezel sets and they are in differing shapes as well. Yet it is very contemporary with the rich goldtone textured base and the aurora borealis stones sparkling like mad. The accenting earrings come in a paisley shape.

In the book Inside the Jewelry Box Vol 2 by Ann Mitchell Pitman, this set is shown on page 100! The brooch measures 2" wide and has a dome effect. The generous earrings measure and 1 1/4" long. They are also left and right in design which also speaks to the high caliber of this set.

I really like ART pieces because they come in so many different and original designs. Art jewelry of this quality is becoming increasingly difficult to find in such great condition.
