Hard to come by, DeNicola jewelry was made from 1957-1970 in New York City and is known for designs with oversized cabochons in various colors and materials as evidenced in this fascinating piece.

The two faux cabachon emeralds and a square faux sapphire accent swirling metalwork along the top part of the bow. The three dangles with a large faux cabachon ruby in the center of white petals is fun and dramatic.

Measuring three inches long and two inches top to bottom of the dangles, this brooch makes a dynamic statement! All of the sections are high domes with bright goldtone finish.

This is so unique which is just what DeNicola is known for. When I look at this design, I can conjure up country roads, meadows filled with flowers and cows in their pastures waiting to be milked. Call me crazy but that is what costume jewelry is all about. Enjoy!
