About Us
Art makes me happy so I have painted almost every day since starting about five years ago. I have studied with several great teachers and will continue to do so. As a former professional photographer-have cameras will travel- my darkroom has morphed into an art studio and of course my plein air easel is ready to paint any where at any time. This is the hardest thing I have ever tried to do but it is so much fun at the same time. Where ever we have lived, I have been fortunate to meet and become great friends with fellow artists. Along the way gallery representation has become a reality.

I like oils because they offer durability and depth of color play. My style falls in the category of contemporary realist with an impressionistic bent. Constant observation is key just as in photography, only now I am loading up by brushes and filling my canvas with luminous color.

I have been a dealer of vintage costume jewelry since the late 1980's when introduced to them in Europe! They are small works of art. International press connections loved my selection of signed, American pieces. I especially enjoy the early designs and finding a significant piece is very rewarding these days. My gallery will offer carefully selected items with intrinsic and artistic merit.
