The creamer was made in Czechoslovakia in the early 1900s. Finished in soft shades of brown, tan, cream and green, the ox has nicely defined features, soulful dark eyes, and an open mouth through which the cream pours. On each side of the pitcher is a raised image of a woman, sitting on a stool and milking a female ox.
Measuring 6 inches long, 3 inches across, and 3 1/2 inches tall, this little jug holds a full cup of liquid. In excellent condition, the creamer has no chips, cracks, or damage. A factory flaw on the handle, likely where it rested against another piece during the firing process, affects neither the usefulness nor the charm of this unusual cream pitcher.
