The Ice Capades shows, founded in 1940 and featuring former Olympic figure skaters, were all the rage for several decades. These 1950s glasses, the Skate Capades, were inspired by the popularity of the famous skating extravaganzas.

This set of four 6 1/4 inch tall tumblers is decorated with snowflakes, swirls and skaters galore - singles and couples, twirling and leaping, in turquoise, pink and white.

Each glass holds 1 1/2 cups of liquid. All the tumblers are in excellent shape, having no cracks or chips, and with extremely minimal paint wear. They are unsigned.
