This sweet and summery chintz cup and saucer are in the scarce "Virginia Stock" pattern by Royal Standard of England.

The graceful, gently flared cup is gilded around the edge, as is the curlique handle and the short base. The exterior of the cup is pristine white with a gold band, contrasting nicely with the riot of flowers on the softly scalloped saucer, also rimmed in gold.
