Shell roses of hot magenta and creamy white are nestled on dark green leaves, each of which is topped by the tiniest pale pink shells imaginable. The 2 1/4 by 1 1 /4 inch brooch is backed by an oval of clear celluloid and fastens with a locking C clasp.

This fragile beauty is in good condition overall. The white rose has two missing petals and one with a rough edge, and some of the outside row of leaves have minor paint loss on the edges. These flaws are not readily apparent when the brooch is being worn.
