These beautiful old bookends are based on the evocative End of the Trail sculpture by famed Western artist James Frasier, featuring an Indian bowed over his tired horse in ultimate defeat.

So highly detailed that the ribs of the man and horse can be clearly seen, these cast bookends have an aged, gilded finish, and retain the original red felt on the bottoms.

Standing not quite 4 inches high, these bookends come to us from the 1920s and are in fine condition. Though somewhat worn in spots, the finish is generally very good. Guaranteed authentic. No makers mark.
