This pretty transferware plate is in the Jenny Lind pattern by Royal Staffordshire Pottery, England. The backstamp indicates it was manufactured circa 1900. The centre of the plate features a tableau of three people, two women and a man, making their way to the castle in the distance. Trees, mountains and what looks like a lake complete the tranquil scene.
