A handsome, majolica type rooster cream pitcher, made in Czechoslovakia in the early 1900s. Vivid, hand painted shades of brown, yellow, green and rust show off the details of his feathers and face. The jug is 7 inches tall, 5 1/2 inches across his beak and handle, holds 2 1/2 cups of liquid, and signed on the bottom, Made in Czechoslovakia, with the number 27.
