I just received my package in the mail with the beautiful Mauchline knitting pin case and I am thrilled with its condition and lovely warm coloring and patina of age. The transfer picture is amazing in it's detail and each time I look at it I see something I didn't notice before! It is a little gem for my knitting basket where it is safely, softly nesting on top of my work. I have some fine gauge vintage steel needles on the way to me to put in the case and have recently found a walnut knitting sheath from Yorkshire to use with the fine needles- I will be all set to start a new project with these lovely tools!
