For your consideration is this very old Art Deco era hand carved shell cameo sterling silver ring. It has a lot of patina on the silver and a translucent quality on the cameo. The ring shaft is engraved "Sterling" and it has a deco designs on the substantial part of the shaft near the cameo. The cameo is prong set with prongs that look like ribbon ends. The ring is a size 6 1/2 and is in very good condition and shows a little wear due to its age. The ring has a very delicate look but is in fact quite sturdy. It was well made. This lovely old collectible cameo ring was an estate sale find.
