SALE Vintage Castlecliff Cobalt Blue 6 Strand Cat's Eye Bead Necklace

This is such a luminous shade of cobalt blue on these cat's eye beads! The designer Castlecliff used hundreds of them to create this gorgeous 6-strand necklace. They have optical movement that displays the various shades of the blue color every time it moves. The 6 strands are strung on silk cord and connected to a textured gold tone rectangular closure that measures 3/4" long x 1/2" wide. The necklace is 16 1/2" long and about 1 1/4" wide. "Castlecliff" is engraved on a cartouche on the back of the closure. This company was founded in 1918, and the Castlecliff mark was first used in 1941. During the 1970s, it became part of Lucien Picard. This necklace is in excellent vintage condition but the closure could use some polishing. I will leave that up to the new owner.
