Oversized Elegant Antique Embossed Leather Jewelry or French Gloves Box with working lock and key. Superb Antique Embossed Burgundy Leather.

The outside is stunning; the inside surprisingly fine for a late-1800s to 1920s box, as they are so often tattered by their years. This one has a stunning Silk Tufted Interior with Gold Thread Wrapped Buttons which secure the tufting.

Condition of exterior: Only 1 minor scratch to the top...can't even see in photos, minor edge wear. Condition of the interior: only one minor fray to the right side wall of the box and minor wear from previously housed treasures.

Approximate measurements: Exterior 13 inches wide. Interior 11.5 inches wide.
