A solemn gaze on the face of Jesus. This 19c Italian white marble sculpture/bust with beveled marble base is crafted with great quality and signed by L. Nardoni. Beautifully done and luminous! Excellent Condition. Circa 1880.

Leone Nardoni was an Italian Cardinal of the church and also known for his works as a sculptor and lithographer. He died August 22, 1904.

Measures 7 1/2"H x 4 1/2"W and weighs 2 1/2 lbs.
