Triple marked: CH Field Haviland Limoges (in red), then GDA underlined France (in green), and finally, an incised mark which is hard to decipher. GDA is the mark for Gerard, Dufraisseix & Abbot Limoges Paris, circa 1900.
This set is very special. The large serving bowl has lovely scalloped edges, gold gilt (some wear) and the prettiest floral sprays in pink and green. The porcelain itself has scrolling embossed decorations. Beautiful sprays of roses enhance the OUTSIDE of this bowl as well, truly unique. It is in Excellent Condition and measures almost 10 1/2" in diameter.
Next the Stunning Berry Bowls. You will receive 4 Scalloped Elegant bowls measuring 5 1/2" in diameter, designed the same way as the large bowl, the only difference being the outside of the bowls in white porcelain only. Double Marked, like the large serving bowl sans the incised mark. Excellent Condition with no loss of gold gilt edges and only the typical tiny manufacturing dots here and there. So beautiful.
This set is an amazing addition to the Antique Haviland Limoges Plates listed earlier (Item# 2-351, see picture of the grouping) (sorry, other plates sold this past August). Certainly an heirloom. After dinner...another beautiful display set.
