German Canister Set - Early 20th Century

This is a circa 1915 to 1920's 8 piece canister set that includes 2 from a different set. The 3 large white with blue trim: Rice, Tea, Sugar are Marked "Germany 499" measure 6 and 1/2" H w/o lid.

The Tea is missing the lid and has crack (shown) but it still makes for a nice display piece.

The matching 3 small have the same white with blue trim: Ginger, Pepper, Cloves and measure 3 and 1/4" H w/o lid. Marked "Germany 499". One lid has a chip (shown).

The 2 small white with black, gold and blue pattern: Cloves, Nutmeg are 3 and 1/4" H w/0 lid and are Marked "Germany, FRIDA".

All are in good condition, except where indicated, with age-related crazing. Maybe you have the rest of the set, or use these for a starter!
