This old blackened tin coffee pot and cups will be the center piece of a colonial room or western fireplace. This is the type of pot used on those cattle drives of long ago. The tin coffee pot is in great shape with only a few age related dents. It has no cracks and measures 10" tall to the top of the lid and 5 3/4" across the bottom. This is a very early quarter plate dag and unusual in that her braided hair is tied with a ribbon still attached to the velvet inside the case. The simple sheet or blanket behind them was a common backdrop. The case measures 4 5/8" x 3 3/4" and appears to be a very light wood base with paper covering. The actual plate is 4 1/8" x 3 1/8".
