The popular Moon and Star pattern originated in the late 1800s with U.S. Glass and continued to be produced by numerous companies, such as L.G. Wright, Fenton and L.E. Smith Glass Company until the late 1970s.

This pretty green Moon and Star compote stands 5.5" tall and is 4.5" in diameter at the top rim. The open compote features the Moon and Star pattern repeated around the outer bowl, with stars on the underside of the footing, and a flared and scalloped rim. It is in excellent condition, with no flakes, chips or cracks. A small air bubble is encased in the glass on the bottom footing from production, which is not a detraction from this beautiful piece. It will make a wonderful addition to your home decor or Moon and Star collection!
