This is a handsome and lovely patinaed console handcrafted from solid chestnut by the middle part of the 18th century. This piece consists of a massive rectangular top sitting upon a large façade featuring a 2-drawer frieze supported by 4 boldly sculpted baluster legs joined by H-shaped stretcher. Note some scratches and water rings on the top due to the age. Circa date 1740. Dimensions 30”high/ 66”wide/27”deep.
