An exquisite and very decorative French photo frame from the late Victorian/Edwardian era, with gracefully curved sides. The frame is made of good quality, fairly heavy, cast brass/bronze which has acquired a beautiful, natural patina with time.

It is done in the Louis XV style, with soft curves, acanthus motifs and a lovely "cartouche" on top.

The back is wood, very likely mahogany.

The frame still has its original glass.

CONDITION: In very good condition. Stable. 2 small splits in the wood. Not very visible.
