Antique c 1900 VICTORIAN/Edwardian Hand Embroidered Lawn Top/Blouse with LACE Medium/M WOW!

An ethereal lawn top circa 1880-1910, with delicate white on white floral embroideries, lace trims and inserts, an elegant Queen Ann collar that becomes a sailor's collar at the back, and drawn threads nearly everywhere!

The top has been laundered and is fresh and clean, very white, with NO REPAIRS NECESSARY.

Tops from the turn of the Century are just a pleasure to wear in the Spring and Summer.

This one which seems to have been created just at the articulation of the Victorian and the Edwardian times, since it has features from both eras, is incredibly feminine and refined.

MEASUREMENTS: This is not a top for a tall woman, but it has floating fabric from the arms down, and all measurements: bust, bottom, shoulders are perfectly wearable by today's standards.

Length at front: 20". Length at back: 19". (they were worn short at the time) Bust: 44" fabric completely stretched. Bottom: 44". Shoulders width: 15 1/2"

Arm Opening: 14" (Careful, this is fairly tight today) Sleeve length: 21 1/2".

CONDITION: Very good for its 100 years old or so! No yellowing and no stains at all. Very white. Minor wear, meaning micro areas where the lawn is more transparent, and one small mending at the front in the lower part. (see pic) All areas under the buttons have been reinforced, but be very gentle with the buttons as a rule, as pulling at them, will pull at the fabric.
