The cameo is hand painted on porcelain and is framed with a rope motif in brass.
The Georgian lady wears a low cut dress typical of the late 18th Century, with a delicately painted transparent ruffle against her ivory color skin.
Her powdered hairdo is also typical of that era, with ringlets falling on each side of her lovely face.
This adorable Victorian pin will look perfect with an ornate collar, a lace blouse, to close a merino cardigan, etc.
MEASUREMENTS: Length: 1 1/4". Width: 1".
CONDITION: Very good with only minor wear to the portrait.
