Antique 19th C GEORGIAN French Provincial Ladies w Coiffes Colored Print/Lithograph AWESOME Costumes!

Circa 1830-1840 a super charming and poetic French lithograph printed by Charpentier in Nantes and representing 2 ladies from the Loire region in beautiful provincial costumes.

The ladies wear 2 tier lace collars and long sturdy gray cotton aprons, and they have the most amazing headpieces!

These coiffes are true architectures of starched batiste and lace, with 2 extra flaps at the back.

The ladies have very feminine leather pointed shoes and one wears a scarf or "fichu" at the back, probably held by one of these Georgian "fichu" pins like items # 1014JWL and # 1012JWL.

MEASUREMENTS: Length: 12". Width: 9 1/4"

CONDITION: Excellent condition for its age. No hole or tear. Normal darkening of the paper. Some very light humidity trace at the bottom.
