The pair was kept away from daylight in an a portfolio, and is incredibly fresh, with vibrant colors.

The embroidery, which looks more like an elaborate hand crafted 3 D weaving, is intact.

The colors are the American colors, set against an ecru canvas background.

The subjects are adorable!

Done in the "silhouette" style, they show a girl watering flowers, and a boy dressed in an ancient Period costume.

The characters are set against a streamlined forest or garden background with big daisies. Their gestures are delightfully symmetrical, as if they were waiving to each other!

Each scene is surrounded by lovely ornate wreaths.

Perfect for many decors: Country French, Boudoir, Romantic, Southern, Paris Apt, rustic, etc..

MEASUREMENTS: Each. Length: 8 1/2". Width: 7 1/2".

CONDITION: Some light yellowing of the ecru base. No tear, hole or stains. In excellent condition.
