A neat antique Souvenir plate from Minneapolis, Minnesota. The plate has a flow blue design and several vignettes which include Minnehaha Falls, the Viaduct and Flour Mills, Block House Erected in 1820 Fort Snelling, West Hotel, Public Library Minnesota State University and the Mississippi River Near Soldiers Home. The plate is marked on the back "R & M Co., The Rowland & Marsellus Co., Staffordshire, England, Made Exclusively for New England Furniture & Carpet Co., Minneapolis, Minn.". The plate measures 10 1/4" in diameter and is in very good condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. It has some tape residue on the back but it is removable. The plate would make a nice addition to a Historical Minnesota or Flow Blue collection.
