A very beautiful antique (circa late 1800's) Victorian picture frame. The frame has an excellent Aesthetic design that includes Sunflowers, flowers, foliage and a rope motif. The frame is made of wood and the dimensional design is gesso, it has a lovely gold finish. The inner liner is fabric, it is velvet but the flocking is gone, the fabric is consistent so it displays fine. The frame has old glass and a hanger on the back. Overall dimensions are 16" x 13 7/8" and the frame opening when measured from the back is a pinch over 10" x 8". The photo of the family is included, it looks like there might be 2 sets of twins, the older boys and the 2 younger girls. The frame is in very good overall condition. It would be lovely with a mirror, art work or favorite family photo in a period Victorian or Aesthetic decor.
