SOLD Charming Figural Group of 2 Ladies Comforting Cupid

A lovely old figurine depicting 2 ladies comforting Cupid. Cupid is sitting on one ladies lap while the other ladies pets a dove and holds a bowl of fruit. the figural group is made of white porcelain and has some hand painted details. It is nicely modeled with good attention to detail. The figural group is marked on the underside with cross swords with the letter "R" underneath, I think it is German in origin. I believe it dates circa 1940-60's. The Cupid & Ladies is a large figurine with overall dimensions of 9" high and 9" x 7" at the base. It is in very good overall condition. The only thing to note is one possible loss to a leaf on the bottom by the wreath of Roses. The figural group would make a nice addition to a porcelain collection.
