A very beautiful set of 4 antique French Limoges plates. The plates are all hand painted with a Water Lily and Fern motif and each is highlighted with gilt gold. The edges have a scalloped design embossed in the porcelain and a sponged gold highlight. The plates are marked "Limoges, A K & D, France" and "Limoges, France". Each plate measures 9 1/8" in diameter. All 4 plates are in good overall condition with no chips or cracks. There is wear to the gilt gold on all 4 plates including small losses, see closeup photo. The painted decoration has minimal wear. The plates have a lovely display quality and would make a fine addition to a French Limoge collection.
