A lovely antique French Limoges Biscuit Jar. The jar is entirely hand painted with a delicate floral motif in shades of pink, green, yellow and blue. It is signed by the artist on the bottom "Ross" and also "GDA (or GOA), France". The handles and finial are gilt gold. The biscuit jar measures 5 1/4" high including the finial, 7 1/4" handle to handle, 4 5/8" in diameter across the top and 3" at the base. It is in very good overall condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or repairs. The only thing to note are a few tiny spots of wear to the gold. The biscuit jar would make a fine addition to an antique Limoges or Hand painted china collection.
