Elegant Art Deco Satin Drapes w/ Chenille Embroidered Flowers

A very beautiful set of Art Deco drapery panels. There are 5 panels altogether (2 pairs and an extra for a valance or pillow). The drapes are made of soft light weight satin that drapes beautifully like an old wedding gown. They date circa 1920-30s. The top is decorated with a beige satiny material and the edges have "piping", each panel features two hand embroidered chenille flowers. All 5 panels have pleated tops and are lined in a light cotton material. Each panel measures 23" across the pleated top, 33" across the bottom and are 80" long. All 5 panels are in good overall condition. There is some gentle fading along the top where the pleats are and a few light moisture marks that are rather hard to notice. The linings are discolored and have some small tears but they have done a good job of preserving the satin. The drapes have been stored away for many years and need to be aired. They are very elegant in the material, style and workmanship. They would make a lovely addition to an antique decor.
