A neat antique Victorian candlestick. The candlestick has a whimsical motif of a Gargoyle or Dragon. The Gargoyle looks like he is dancing as he holds flames or a garland. The base is decorated with flowers and has an Aesthetic influence in the design. The candlestick is made of copper and has a nickel plated finish. Overall dimensions are 6" high and 5" x 3 1/4" at the base. The candlestick is in very good overall condition with no chips or cracks in the metal. There is light wear to the nickel but it adds to the look in this case. The candlestick would be perfect in a Victorian, Gothic or Aesthetic inspired decor. It is neat!
