A very unusual pair of antique bobeche. Bobeches are placed on wax candles to catch drips thereby protecting delicate linen tablecloths. This fine pair has a neat design of Knights on Horseback Jousting, Suits of Armor and Heraldry Banners or Flags. The design is well detailed. The Bobeches are made of either bronze or brass. Each measures 3 1/8" in diameter with a center opening of 7/8". Both pieces are in very good overall condition with no chips or cracks. The bronze/brass has a nice patina. The Bobeches will add a special touch to a set of candlesticks in a Gothic or Medieval inspired decor. They are wonderful!
