They are made of brass and feature the original wall mount brackets and frosted glass shades. A rare set of Art Deco Bookends. The bookends were designed by Paul Herzel and made by Pompeian Bronze in 1930. They depict a semi nude woman and a gentleman dancing. These bookends are rated rare in the Encyclopedia of Bookends reference book. They are signed "Paul Herzel". Each bookend measures approximately 11" high and the pair weighs just over 4 1/2 pounds.
