SALE Pressed Pattern Glass Cruet

An early American pressed glass cruet with a columnar pattern on the outside. It is early 1900's or possibly late 1890's. The pontil mark is on the bottom and it has a decorative glass stopper. In the 1800's to create a pressed glass object from blown glass off of the pontil rod was an innovation that required fast efficient expertise by the glass makers. The pontil mark on the bottom of this is where the glass makers iron rod was separated from the liquid glass. This cruet is in nice condition and is 5 1/2" high.
