A vintage kitchen gadget from Nordic Ware, Minneapolis, Minnesota. It's for making krumkakes, a wafer type cookie, and the iron imprints a design on both sides. It is made of cast aluminum and has red wooden handles. There is a cradle holder for it that is used to put on your hot stove element as the heat cooking source. It comes apart in three pieces for easy cleaning. There is a recipe book with it from Nordic Ware which features recipes for a variety of cookies made using their products including some recipes for this krumkake iron. The condition is good. There are some signs of light use on the outer surfaces showing minor discolorations. The inside of the iron is in good clean condition as well as the handles. It makes a 5" wide round cookie.
