The detailed workmanship on this piece rivals that of the most ornate fine jewelry of the Victorian era. The Brooch, which may also be worn as a pendant, measures 1 3/4" in diamenter.

The centerpiece is a dark green hard plastic (cabochon) set in a corded cup with prongs. It measures 15/16" in diameter.

The elaborate frame is set with small glass pearls and clear rhinestone chatons. All of these smaller stones are dogtooth set except the double set of rhinestones at the top and bottom of the piece which are set in cups.

The outstanding feature of the piece is the elaborate gold tone metal work.
