Nettie Rosenstein pieces are extremely hard to find and beautifully constructed. This one is no exception. Each side of the heavy chain is 7 1/8"long; the pendant, including bale, is 2 1/2" long; 2" wide. The total weight of the entire piece is 4 1/2 ounces. It is difficult to describe the quality of the piece - unless you are a Nettie Rosenstein collector.

According the Hougart's "The Little Book of Mexican Silver Trade and Hallmarks" the marking T0-27 represents CDC - I assume these are the initials of the craftsman . This beautiful older piece is hallmarked "925" and the designer's or maker's initials are also inscribed at the opposite end. The center stone is beautifully faceted and is either glass or aquamarine. It was not possible to capture the brilliance of the marcasites in the picture. The brooch is 2 1/2" long and only 3/8" inches wide. The condition is Very Good with very slight bending of the sterling ends which certainly give credence to its age.

This bracelet, signed Coro with the Pegasus mark is beautifully constructed in gold tone metal. It measures 7" in length and 1" in width. It is always difficult for me to post pictures that show the beauty of clear rhinestones in a piece.The center rhinestone in each of the swirls is an emerald cut with has two chatons on on either side. Each stone is prong set, and their size is greater than is normally found in costume piece. The condition is excellent.

So typical of the Victorian "Bar Pins", this one is done in brass metal with the favorite purple faux amythest stone. I don't know exactly how old it is, but it has a "c" clasp. The table of the faux amythest has no scratches, and the metal work on either side of it is quite lovely. The brooch is 3" long and 1/2" wide. I believe the metal to be brass - many alloys were used in the Victorian era, but this looks like brass - I do not clean the metal unless asked to do so.
